eXplorer: bohuzial si uz nepamatam presne ako som musel to ospf znasilnit aby mi to chodilo a kedze ten prepoj (tiez nad cudzou infrastrukturou) uz nemam tak nemozem ani obcumnut z konfiguraku
Taakze vypatral som o co tam pri OSPF v kombinacii s GRE ide :

connected (1 hop). now if you dont specify the ttl=50, the ip header of
the encapsulating packet (the gre packet) inherits this ttl=1 from the
encapsulated packet (the ospf packet).
obviously, a ttl=1 is not sufficient for the gre packet if you have
multiple hops between the ends of the tunnel, hence the ttl=50.
i only noticed this by running a trace in the middle of my tunnel and
seeing the icmp ttl exceeded packets being generated.
please tell me if i am talking rubbish... (and include a more feasable
theory)

... ale aj tak stale nechapem ako je mozne ze pakety v GRE tuneli "vidia" cestu pod sebou a teda aj routre ktore tvoria tunel. Znamena to ze do GREcka sa bali len "payload" a hodnota TTL atd nie ? |
